Ship it!

A US naval ship under repairs at the Mare Island shipyard. I was out on this island off Vallejo last month exploring the area for some creative compositions.  I decided to apply a black and white rendering for the content shown here, putting more focus on the composition, shadows, reflections, and lighting.   These were all shot handheld with a Canon EOS 5D mk3 with an EF 24-105mm L IS f/4 lens.
