Death Valley motorcycle adventure

This way to nowhere

A road in Goler Canyon on the way over Mengel Pass.

It is time for another Death Valley motorcycle adventure trip. The images shown here are from previous trips via off-road motorcycle to this wonderous area, and a preview of some of the terrain that will be covered again this time.  Each time I visit continues to surprise with new and unexpected situations due to changes in weather, lighting, and good old happen-stance.  The desolation seems to draw off road motorcyclists to this area like moths to a candle.

This time I will be starting from Ridgecrest with 6 other riders and complete a triangle with the towns of Pahrump and Beatty over 3 days, crossing over many of the most remote areas of Death Valley in the process.  Much of the terrain is only limited to high ground clearance 4wd vehicles and off-road motorcycles.
